WHY DO I NEED TO COME WITHOUT MAKEUP?

Make-up or any product that may contain high oil ingredients may over coat and block your lashes. The solution needs to penetrate the hair follicles for a successful lift.

HOW LONG IS THE APPOINTMENT?

Depending on your eye sensitivity and conditions of your lashes the appointment time varies. Please prepare to be at your appointment for a max 2 hours.

WHY DO I NEED TO AVOID WATER ON MY LASHES?

Avoiding anything that will get your lashes wet (shower, seat, sauna, hot tub, hot yoga, etc) will enable the solution to penetrate deeper and longer on the lashes which then will result in a longer lasting lift.

WHAT KIND OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept cash, credit, e-transfer and debit. This may differ per location as of COVID-19. Please view any recent announcements.

WILL A TINT SHOW UP ON ANY LASHES?

Our YUMI black tint will only show up on all lashes except super dark black lashes. Our tint is best for blonde, brown, medium brown, medium dark brown, or dark lashes with light tips. If your lashes are a super dark brown or black (mostly asians), the tint will not show up on your lashes.

HOW OFTEN CAN I COME BACK FOR A LASH LIFT?

Minimum time requirement for another full keratin lash lift would be 8 weeks.

MY LIFT DID NOT LAST, WHAT HAPPENED?

  • Sleeping on your face or on one side may cause lashes to go down

  • Using high oil concentrated products before your appointment may block solution penetration

  • Coming in with mascara or old mascara residue can block solution penetration

  • At times harsh winter can cause products to oxidize ruining our products

  • Arrangements can be done to fix any lash issues

WHAT IS A MINI LIFT AND WHEN CAN I DO A MINI LIFT?

  • Mini lifts are an option for those going through fast lash cycles to help blend in grown out lashes to their new lift.

  • Minis lifts can ONLY be done between 4-6 weeks timeframe from the original full keratin lash lift. Not any sooner or any later.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE DAMAGED LASHES?

  • YUMI treatments will not damage your natural lashes

  • YUMI contains keratin that will assist in repairing your lashes

  • YUMI will help your lashes grow in length by 17%-43% and by volume by 19%-40%

CAN YOU LIFT SHORT LASHES?

We can lift short lashes as long as you have lashes! Keep in mind results varies depending on your natural lashes and eye shape.

IS THE TINT HYPOALLERGENIC?

YUMI tint is not hypoallergenic but safe and made for lashes and brows. If you are super sensitive to any dye or henna or any type of hair colouring products, please skip the tinting process.

Keratin is a fibrous protein that forms the main structural constituent of your hair. It is the protein that protects epithelial cells from damage or stress. Keratin is essential in helping rebuilding any hair damages and adds protein back to it.
